Karen Brown

I am a 3rd year Illustration BAA student at Sheridan College, located in Oakville, Ontario. I use composition, color, and light to create illustrations that create a striking visual and emotional impact, delivered through a narrative framework or a visual metaphor. My work is often frank, atmospheric, kinetic, and full of my own brand of humor.

Beyond this ‘Art’ and ‘Illustration’ shenanigans, I have a background in creative writing and theatre acting/improv. All that really means is that I am probably a lot less hilarious then I think I am.

I am adept at working in fast-paced and demanding environments, multi-tasking, research and analysis, communicating with a wide range of individuals, and more.

I make great banana cake, love scary movies, and sang for a rock bang for just one gig.
